Gumen Kill Native Doctor

A native doctor who was alleged to have specialized in preparing charms and other protective devices for men of the underworld was last weekend shot dead by unidentified gumen.
According to eyewitnesses, the incident took place at Aguleri Junction in Anambra East Local Government Area of Anambra State at about 6:30am when the native doctor popularly known as Onyeamuma (a prophet) left his house to transact a business in Onitsha.
Unaware that some hoodlums were trailing him, the source said the native doctor attempted to board a vehicle to Onitsha and was shot serially by two gunmen who operated on a mtotorcyle.
The victim was immediately rushed to an undisclosed hospital in the area by some family members who quickly came to the scene of the incident.  It was gathered that he died before reaching the hospital for medical attention.
People alleged that the native doctor must have been a victim of retributive justice as the charm he prepared for some armed robbers might have failed them as such they hoodlums decided to pay him back with bullets that sent him to his grave.
